Extended Bass Range For Progressing Players
The Coppergate intermediate bass trombone is fitted with two triggers, which enables the progressing trombone player to play in different keys - a key attribute of the bass trombone. Unlike Tenor instruments, having two triggers gives you access to a much greater length of tubing allowing you to play lower notes. Helping produce this sound is a large bell which resonates with deep tones.
The high quality, corrosion resistant cupronickel slides make the Coppergate bass trombone a versatile instrument that is ideal for playing both light and intricate passages and well as deeper bass lines.
Wide Range Of Ensemble Uses
As well as being suited to brass bands and orchestral playing, the extended range of the Coppergate also makes it suitable for jazz and big band music. The wide range of this trombone means that it can effectively be used in place of a tuba in several musical arrangements. The bass trombone predates the tuba by several hundred years, and has actually had parts written for it as the bass instrument of musical movements by Beethoven and Mozart.
Stunning Gold Brass Trombone That is Built to Last
Built for repeated use in a variety of environments, this trombone has corrosion resistant Cupronickel tuning slides which will maintain this instrument's high quality sound for years to come. This Intermediate Trombone is finished in Gold Brass which has a stunning appearance which adds to the rich sound.
