You can explore 15,000 custom-crafted drum samples and over 700 presets spanning 18 modern genres, or drag in your own sounds and organise them using automatic tagging. Intelligent randomisation provides another way to generate fresh beats and kits without starting from scratch. And once your groove is ready, drag and drop audio or MIDI directly into your DAW, making Triaz a flexible drum-production environment for sound design, sequencing, and arrangement.

Each of Triaz's 12 drum channels can combine up to three samples, giving you plenty of scope to construct sounds rather than relying on individual one-shots. Blend the three layers visually using the XY pad, then sequence its position with the Motion Sequencer for evolving combinations. Every layer also has dedicated filters, envelopes, distortion, reverse, start offset, LFOs, and randomisation. This means an 808 sub, acoustic kick, and textured sample can each be shaped independently before being blended into one drum. With 36 sample layers available across a complete kit, you can get deep into sound design without leaving the plugin.
Triaz gives each of its 12 drum channels independent timing rate, loop length, and swing controls, making straightforward grooves and complex polyrhythms equally accessible. Six editing modes provide detailed control over each step. Repeat can retrigger a hit up to nine times, Chance introduces probability-based variations, and Offset moves individual hits around the beat for tighter or looser timing. Pitch provides a two-octave range for tuned percussion, fills, and melodic sequences. You can also record with a MIDI controller in real time, then use quantisation and humanisation to balance programmed precision with more organic timing.
The Motion Sequencer lets you sequence Triaz's layer and channel effects parameters alongside the drums themselves. Simply right-click a compatible control to assign it, then create rhythmic parameter changes that stay synced with your beat. You could move a snare texture across the stereo field, vary kick distortion, alter an open hi-hat's decay, or automate delay sends on individual parts of a pattern. Per-layer LFOs and humanisation controls add further movement, while channel processing includes tilt EQ, compression, transient shaping, stereo widening, saturation, and SP1200-style tuning, bit-crushing, and sample-rate reduction.
Triaz combines 15,000 included drum samples with over 700 presets spanning 18 genres, all accessible through its integrated browsers. Imported sample packs can be automatically tagged and categorised, while drag-and-drop loading lets you place your own sounds directly onto layers or mixer channels. When you want to break out of an existing pattern, the Drum Randomizer can select new sounds across the 36 layers, with locking and Similar Sounds options providing control over the results. Pattern generation offers another route to new grooves, with adjustable randomisation intensity and lane locking. Once you're finished, drag audio mixes, stems, or detailed MIDI directly into your DAW.
