The Little PrimalTap 5 captures the distinctive sonic character of the fabled Prime Time delay effects processor in immaculate clarity and detail, boasting an indistinguishable sound to add space and echos in your music. Well-loved among musicians and engineers for its unique character and parameters, Little PrimalTap brings to life the quirky and unique Multiply and Adjust settings that allow you to transform your delays from conventional to completely out of this world!
Featuring a limitless feedback amount and 512 milliseconds of delay time, Little PrimalTap gives you endless decay to play with, allowing you to create infinite loops, warped delays and grungy atmospheric echos and everything in between. The unique Multiply feature doubles the delay time and halves the sampling rate at each interval, up to eight times, letting you add a new layer of sonic colouration to your tone to carve your sonic signature.
Encouraging you to 'perform' with the effect, Little PrimalTap is much more than a traditional set and forget delay plug-in, instead, you should experiment with adjusting parameters in the middle of a delayed phrase to create evolving and expansive repeats that can completely change the way you approach your delay effects in your projects.

Modelled after the unique and fabled digital delay effects processer the Prime Time, Little PrimalTap delivers the same unique characteristics that made the original hardware popular amongst artists in the '80s for rich guitar delay, chorus and flange. The attraction to the Prime Time delay unit was the 'Multiply' feature, a parameter that enabled you to double the delay time and half the sample rate on each turn, up to eight times. This lead to some unique and unusual delays that rewrite the rules on what a traditional delay effect should sound like, allowing you to explore long lo-fi loops, warped delays, grungey atmospheric echoes and classic spacey delays all in one plug-in.
Twist and shout
Much more than simply a 'set and forget' delay unit, Little PrimalTap requires a hands-on approach to get the best of it. Treat Little PrimalTap as an instrument more than an effect and you will reap the benefits of a completely unique soundscape that will sound nothing like anyone else, stamping your sonic signature. Explore automating each parameter in a recorded phrase to find the oddities that pique your interest and give your tracks a unique flavour that stands out from the rest.
The 'Adjust' dial allows you to create pitch shifting or chorus effects when moved and can be used with automation to create a host of other different effect types when used in conjunction with the other parameters available in Little PrimalTap. What sets it apart from traditional delays is the input dial that when pushed, will drive your sound into a unique saturation that simply isn't possible with traditional delays.
Feedback Loop
Way ahead of the competition, Little PrimalTap's Feedback control is infinite and do everything from classic delays to looping effects, with a maximum of 512 milliseconds delay time to use in conjunction for almost limitless, cascading delay trails.
