Traditionally reverbs are emulations of certain spaces or objects created with signal responses and you're able to make changes to certain aspects that affect the sound of the reverb you're applying to your track, but Sonible makes smart:reverb different. By reading and analysing the characteristics of the signal input, it then creates a custom-tailored reverb in seconds and removes any issues typically found with preset reverb such as mud and uncomfortable resonances. On the first opening of the plug-in, you'll notice that there are no presets and that is the precise point smart:reverb is trying to make -why use presets when you can create a custom-tailored reverb in seconds?

Hours can be spent jumping into menus and presets of a reverb plug-in that results in you either going back to the first reverb you tried or not finding one at all, with smart:reverb that's different. Once you have had your custom-tailored reverb created and applied, you are then free to tweak your sound with the comprehensive set of unique features that Sonible provide. With the reverb matrix you are given four parameters to slide between to create a unique blend that will fit your track no matter the situation, choose between a blend of natural and artificial, intimate and rich to create a reverb that is like nothing else you've ever heard.

With a lot of reverb plug-ins you're limited, due to the fact that you cannot see what it is happening and visual representation is something that is always preferred as we can then check our work, rather than be deceived by our ears especially when hit with ear fatigue after a long day mixing. Well, smart:reverb has this covered too with a fully interactive visual interface so you can make any changes you need to and you can then see what this is doing to your sound, so you're free to manipulate the deep structure by modifying aspects like frequency and time-dependent decay and then check and see exactly what you have done and how that affects your sound.
