Flexible modular design with space for ten modules
The Harrison D510r offers ten standard 500 Series slots, giving you the tools to build a custom signal chain that works for your setup. Fill it with mic pres for location recording, or load it with EQ and dynamics for a mix-ready front end. You can use just a few modules or fill all ten, depending on your workflow and gear requirements.
Each module receives stable and consistent power, and the layout is straightforward. This makes the D510r a great choice for engineers who want a simple way to combine high-quality outboard gear without locking into fixed channel strips or larger consoles.
Optional Dante AoIP for digital system integration
The D510r is the only 500 Series rack that can be expanded with a Dante interface. This makes it well suited for studios or venues already using AoIP networks. Once installed, the interface connects your analogue modules directly into your digital system with minimal cabling and no converters.
You can route preamps, EQs, or dynamics straight into your recording or live rig. This saves time, reduces clutter, and keeps your signal path clean. It also means the rack can adapt easily as your wider system changes or grows.
Summing mixer upgrade for analog warmth
Adding the optional D510mx card transforms the rack into a compact summing mixer. This allows you to combine multiple tracks from your DAW or sampler through real analog circuitry, adding natural glue and tone. It’s a good option if you want to bring some depth to your mixes without using a full console.
You can mix stems, subgroup signals, or combine live inputs into a stereo bus. The summing module gives you the sound of Harrison's legacy consoles in a compact, rack-friendly format that integrates easily with modern workflows.
Reliable performance with strong power supply
The D510r’s built-in power supply delivers 30 percent more current per slot than the standard 500 Series specification. This extra capacity helps maintain module stability and prevents noise or performance issues, especially with newer or more demanding designs.
The steel chassis fits standard 19-inch racks and is built to handle regular transport. Whether it’s for fixed installation in a studio or regular live work on the road, the D510r keeps your gear secure and well powered. Its robust construction and flexible upgrade path make it a dependable central hub for any modular setup.
