DeNoise Light targets stationary noise including hiss, buzz, wind, and camera noise, while DeHum can reduce electrical hum, buzz, and other tonal noise sources. There’s also DeClick for unwanted clicks and DeClip for restoring recordings distorted by analogue or digital clipping. Together, these tools give you several ways to approach everyday restoration, whether you’re cleaning an older recording, correcting an overloaded take, or dealing with noise captured during recording.
For problems that need a more focused approach, Acoustica 8 Standard includes its Spectral Editor alongside adjustable time and frequency feathering. This gives you finer control over the area being repaired rather than forcing you to process an entire recording. AudioFill provides another useful option for short sections affected by clicks, discontinuities, or impulsive noise, replacing the selected region with an estimate based on the audio surrounding it.
