The AIR10 is built for situations where the same speaker may need to cover different roles across a single day. Its onboard DSP includes application-based presets for DJ playback front-of-house monitor use and speech, so you can make useful changes quickly from the rear panel.
Bass and treble controls give you extra adjustment when a room sounds too bright too thin or too heavy in the low end. The menu is accessed through the master control and LCD display, which keeps navigation simple during setup. For mobile performers and small venues, that means less time digging through outboard gear and more time getting the system ready to use.
This model keeps the format manageable without losing the output needed for real live work. The AIR10 uses a 10-inch low-frequency driver with a 2-inch voice coil and a 1-inch compression driver in an active two-way design.
PreSonus rates it at 1200W dynamic power, with a maximum SPL of 121 dB and a frequency range down to 66 Hz at minus 3 dB. In practice, that gives you enough level for vocals music playback acoustic sets and general PA duties in smaller spaces. It is also easier to lift and move than larger cabinets in the same range, which matters when you are loading in alone or working in tighter venues.
The AIR10 gives you several ways to get audio in without making the rear panel complicated. Two Class A mic preamps are built into the combo XLR and 1/4-inch inputs, so you can plug in dynamic microphones or line-level sources directly. There is also a stereo 1/8-inch auxiliary input for consumer devices such as phones tablets and portable players.
All three inputs are summed, which is useful when you need a simple all-in-one speaker setup for a speech small performance or background music. If you need to expand, the balanced XLR Mix Out lets you pass the combined signal to another AIR speaker. That makes stereo or linked systems easier to build with minimal extra hardware.
The enclosure is designed to work in more than one position, which gives the AIR10 added value in mixed-use setups. Its multi-angle cabinet can serve as a main speaker or as a monitor wedge on stage. For mounted use, it includes a 35 mm pole socket with dual positioning at 0 and 7.5 degrees, helping you aim the speaker more effectively toward the audience.
PreSonus also includes rigging points for suspended installation, which broadens its use in venues that need a more permanent system. Even with that flexibility, the cabinet stays lightweight at 13 kg and uses a rugged moulded construction with a steel grille for day-to-day handling.
PreSonus has extended the warranty on all AIR loudspeakers from three years to six years. The new extended warranty is effective immediately and applies to loudspeakers purchased on or after January 1, 2016.
"We have great confidence in the quality of our loudspeakers. They have proven to be extremely reliable and problem-free. Our customers are incredibly loyal, so rewarding that loyalty by extending the warranty was an easy decision.'' - PreSonus Director of Customer Services, Alex Tinsley.
The PreSonus AIR15S features a 15-inch low-frequency transducer as well as a 3-inch voice coil, with a dynamic power rating of 1,200W; more than enough power for a range of audio applications. The result is a powerful yet articulate sound that delivers punch and low-end clarity, perfect for accompanying full-range PA loudspeakers such as the PreSonus AIR series.
Its extended frequency range (35Hz – 160Hz) ensures you pick up every nuance of your audio, ranging all the way down to the bottom end of the frequency spectrum for added thump. The subwoofer itself is driven by the Class D amplification for added detail, as well as improving overall performance.
One of the most unique features of the PreSonus AIR15S is the ability to cater to different environments and acoustics. The lightweight yet rugged tour-grade birch enclosure is highly durable as well as being easy to transport. The built-in carry handles allow you to easily manoeuvre the AIR15S to and from live performances, gigs and more. As well as being portable, the AIR15S also features ground-stacking provisions and more, perfect for demanding installations.
The AIR15S includes two combo XLR and 1/4’’ TRS line-level inputs with level control, allowing you to connect a range of audio devices such as microphones and more. The front-power LED indicator can also be disabled for low-visibility installations.
