It's a fully featured amp and stompox all in one pedal. The Character Plus English Muffy is an incredibly versatile unit in both tones and application. Through its intuitive control interface and dual channel setup you've got the full character and tone-shaping of a vintage amp, with the additional sonic spice of a classic fuzz effect. And importantly, both the amp channels and effects independent of each other, so you can activate the effect on its own, or the amp without the effect.
The "Muff" switch in the centre activates a raucous fuzz effect, which can send your sound from a subtle break-up to full-on saturation. Tech 21 have carefully balanced the amp and stompbox chemistry produce sonics that'll sound good in any situation, so if you're after a tone that lies between retro British rock and Prog rock, then the English Muffy serves up the sounds you're looking for.
Built-in speaker / cab sim
