The Guld Starfire I Bass is a classy, vintage-style bass which will create bold, punchy basslines. With a single BC-1 BiCoil pickup you'll be able to explore a crisp, dynamic tone that offers unrivalled definition. You'll be able to dial in your sound further with the volume and tone controls, which also include a push/pull control to add presence and rolled down lows.
Let nothing hold you back. There's a Thin 'U' mahogany neck, which will fit naturally into your hand and allow you to perform faster passages with greater ease. It's also really comfortable to hold, and gives you the freedom to express yourself along the rosewood fretboard. A Guild bass Tune-O-Matic bridge also adds superb tuning stability to the mix, giving you precise, accurate notes whenever you pluck a string.

With a BC-1 BiCoil pickup at your disposal, your sound will glimmer with definition and articulation. You can expect every note to sound crisp, with a strong midrange and superb highs. You can use the push/pull function on the Volume knob to add more presence and roll off the lows, for a vintage-style sound that has a real 'twang' to it. Whether on stage, in the studio, or in your bedroom, you can be sure you'll have a premium sound.
Resounding resonance
A resonance like no other. Semi-hollow basses create that beautiful, full sound - as well as looking absolutely stunning. Unlike regular hollow bodies, semi-hollows have blocks installed which massively reduce annoying feedback, meaning that with this guitar you get a pure, crystal-clear sound. There are even some stylish holes carved into the arched mahogany top to help add to your suave look onstage.
Prime playability and hardware
Want to play your way? With a Thin 'U' mahogany neck, you'll be flitting across the rosewood fretboard at speed. That's because it favours having your thumb in the centre of the neck rather than hooked over the top, giving your fretting hand stability and a solid anchor point. There's a Tune-O-Matic bridge for exceptional tuning stability, so you can be sure this instrument will perform to perfection every night
