The Five O'Clock Fuzz pedal is built to create the rich saturation made iconic by guitarist of the '70s and onwards. The pedal offers full control over the level sustain characteristics, so you can achieve a wide variety of fuzz tones. A tone control gives additional control over your sound, making it brighter or darker depending on your preferences.
At lower Sustain settings, the Five O'Clock fuzz can create the ideal tone for making your rhythm guitar sound thicker and more saturated. The Tone control gives the ability to create a bright and cutting rhythm sound, or a dark and mellow tone for fat-sounding chords.
At higher Sustain settings, the Five O'Clock fuzz creates a thick saturation that can create a powerful tone for riffing or soloing. At higher Tone settings, the sound can cut through any mix with a more modern, alternative rock sound of the '80s and '90s. At lower Tone settings, the fuzz tone is mellow, warm, and thickly saturated which is ideal for creating a violin-like sustain and soaring solos.
These functions make the Five O'Clock Fuzz a versatile effect that can cover many different styles of fuzz sound. The pedal is equally at home in multiple genres and with multiple amplifier/pedal setups.
The Five O'Clock Fuzz is made with an ultra-durable aluminium chassis and features high-quality components. This makes it ready to withstand the demands of a life with a musician, including the varied professional environments of gigging, recording, rehearsing and touring.
The Five O'Clock Fuzz has a tiny 'micro-pedal' chassis that is designed to take up minimal space on your pedalboard. It also has staggered input and output sockets, so you can stack the pedals next to one-another without the jack cables impeding your tightly-packed pedal layout.
Outlaw Effects aims to create effects pedals with a "big, bad, boutique tone" at an affordable price-point. The pedals feature true bypass switching to keep your tone transparent and they have micro-sized cases with staggered inputs/outputs, making them pedalboard-friendly for close positioning. Outlaw Effects uses ultra-durable aluminium chassis and high-quality components to create pedals that can withstand the rigours of gigging.
